Finalist in the 2007 BBC Young Musicians Competition, Cecilia Sultana De Maria plays masterpieces from the harp repertoire by Bach, Pierné, Hasselmans, Grandjany and David Watkins.

Lecture Recital

“Welsh Choral Music in the 17th Century”

Dr. David Evans, assisted by the Madrigal Singers of the School of Music, Bangor University.
Dr. Evans’ talk will show the state of choral music in 17th century Wales, including recently discovered Chirk Castle manuscripts, and an evaluation of arguably Wales’s greatest composer, Thomas Tomkins of St. David’s, to music in the court of Charles I.
