Young Artist Recital

Asagi and Makoto Nakata (piano and violin)
Returning after their breathtaking concert in the 2007 Festival. Their programme includes music by Debussy, Chopin, Bach, Sarasate, Wieniawski and Paganini.

The Poetry Trio

The Poetry Trio give a recital of poetry about the hidden trials, trip-ups, and turning points of everyday life.

"From Vienna To Broadway"

7:30pm Leisure Centre
The James Evans Incredible String Four meets the
Welsh Chamber Orchestra. The orchestra plays Rossini’s Serenade and Schubert’s Symphony No. 5 in B flat with conductor Anthony Hose. Then James Evans and his quartet join the orchestra for arrangements of his own compositions and of jazz standards by composers such as Eubie Blake.

"Jazz Later"

9:30pm Leisure Centre
The James Evans String Four round off the evening in their inimitable upbeat style.
